“We are committed to providing the highest quality of care utilizing our multidisciplinary team to provide care in the comfort of each patient’s home, wherever they choose to reside.”
Serenity Hospice was conceived by a vision of health care providers who felt the need to provide the highest quality end of life care possible. The owners of Serenity Hospice Care are local owners in the health care industry.
I am the owner of Mueller Therapy and co-owner of Easy Living Home Health Care Agency and Serenity Hospice Care. In 1988, I graduated from Mount Mary College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy.
Prior to starting my own company, I worked in numerous sub-acute facilities, acute care facilities, and assisted living facilities. In 2003, I began Mueller Therapy. The company was started with 1 therapist, 3 clients, and 2 assisted living facilities. In October 2008 another therapist and I started Easy Living Home Health Care Agency. The agency allowed us to expand our services to include nursing services, speech therapy, and much, much more. Mueller Therapy and Easy Living Home Health Care Agency provides services in 120 facilities throughout Wisconsin and continues to grow.
Together, we helped to develop The Walking Tall Program with the Wisconsin Assisted Living Association (WALA). We are credentialed in the Stepping Up Program promoted in many counties throughout Wisconsin. We have done many lectures and presentations including WALA and the Wisconsin Occupational Therapy Association (WOTA) conference. We especially like to focus on educating assisted living facility staff on fall prevention.
As Mueller Therapy and Easy Living Home Health Care continued to grow, we saw a need to complete the continuum of care of the clients we serve. “We saw our clients and families needing support and guidance at the end stage of life. We are thrilled to bring the best end of life care to the communities we serve.” With Tina Thull and Vicki Depies, Serenity Hospice Care began.
I am married to Chuck Mueller and we have three beautiful children. My favorite past time is boating and biking as a family. I also enjoy reading in my spare time.
I have always enjoyed working in customer service and office management. Prior to joining the health care field, I worked in a bank, manufacturing company, and attorney’s office. I very much enjoy being part of the health care. I am very excited to be part of Serenity Hospice Care. I feel hospice care in the home offers peace and comfort not only for the patient but their loved ones during end of life care.
In my free time, my husband and I enjoy spending time outdoors taking care of the yard, biking, running, and hitting the north woods four wheeling. We love having our two grown children join us.
Doctor Theresa Pardoe, DO
Born in Des Moines, Iowa, Doctor Theresa Pardoe knew from a very young age that she wanted to care for those who were suffering and to study toward that end. Taking care of others came very naturally and initially nursing would fulfill that desire to use both brain and hands on skills. She graduated from the University of Iowa in 1982 with a BSN degree and practiced as a nurse for several years at St. Clare Hospital in Schenectady, New York.
She sought a deeper understanding of the pathophysiology of disease and an increased ability to care for others both in sickness and in health and entered medical school on the encouragement of several instructors and the support of her fiancee — soon to be husband. She chose to specialize in Family Practice because it met both of those interests and has enjoyed caring for the entire family over many years. She now cares for the children of the children she once saw in infancy! She loves being part of their families and helps with compassionate and skilled care developed over 25 years of medical practice. She is married with four grown children and four grandchildren. She loves to travel, go camping, read, and spend time with her grandchildren.
I am the Director of Nursing and Quality Improvement Manager with Serenity Hospice Care. In 1995, I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with my BSN in nursing and spent the majority of my career in critical care. From there I transitioned to inpatient hospice, which led me into the world of home health. It has become a natural progression for me to do what I am doing today by paying attention to detail to improve the quality of care we provide to our clients. I am blessed to know I can still make a difference in the lives of clients and families by supporting our staff to be the best they can be.
